Elfhunter was a huge WOW! The cover really got me excited and reading the blurb had me turning pages quickly. The two main characters, cousins Gaelen and Nelwyn, are amazing leads. The actions they make are brave, adventurous, and honorable. I can really connect to both of them which is kind of hard for fantasy books, in my opinion. Throughout the whole book, I was rooting for them and it's a never-ending ride.
The world Marks creates is magnificent. He describes the world in perfect and extensive detail and I felt pulled into the story even more. People are saying he writes like J.R.R. Tolkien and I completely agree! He has a great way of storytelling that captures readers and doesn't let them go. I'm definitely picking up other books by Marks. 100% love this book and want to keep reading his works!
