What Inspired Me to Write My Book
by LN Evans
I had achieved some success at my job as a manager.  I made a good living and accomplished the goals and objectives that the company desired. So, what inspired me to write my book about how to work from home?  I was miserable in my job.  I hated going to work in the morning, and I was never a fan of getting up early.  The parking lot, that most would call a highway, was a daily drag that started and ended my day.  This dissatisfaction with my work and my life led me to look for a better way.  I knew that I was a resourceful person, and I dreamed of achieving my own success, rather than making my boss rich.
I wrote the book, “Killer Work from Home Jobs,” to help people who find themselves suffering from the same degree of unhappiness that I felt in my job, before I made the leap to work from home. Those with the courage to walk away from their job should be supported with the right tools. I didn’t want them to become disheartened, if their search for a home-based job led to a scam.
Many people who want to work from home have difficulty finding legitimate jobs. My book is a culmination of my in depth research on hundreds of companies that offer jobs that can be performed from home. Through thorough review and investigation, I have found the best home-based job opportunities. My book allows me to share this information with anyone who is in need of a home business or work at home job.
The best options for remote jobs are either professional freelance businesses or telecommuting for a company. These opportunities allow the person to stay at home and be paid a fair salary. Superior at-home jobs give people a chance to continue to grow in their field and improve their success. People can achieve their career goals from the comfort of their own domains.
However, the work from home arena is populated with insincere and underhanded offers. Scams associated with home-based business opportunities may require an upfront fee to get started. Legitimate work at home jobs do not require the person to pay a fee to begin to work. People who interview for a job do not pay the human resources employee a fee to begin to work at a company. If a work at home job requires the payment of a fee, the offer probably is a scam.
Some opportunities were designed to seem like legitimate jobs, but the people working for them would not receive much money for their efforts. Among all the scams and the jobs that do not pay their employees enough to make the job worthwhile, there are some genuine opportunities. After I dug through the muck of the work at home offers and weeded out the numerous scams, I wanted to share what I had learned with others, so that they too could find the best work from home job for them.
My business is helping people to find jobs, whether they work in an office or remotely.  But I experienced such tremendous happiness when I changed my life, and started working from home, I wanted to extend that possibility to anyone who shared my excitement.
